She is survived by her husband Robert Benjamin of Clifton; three children Shellie Harms of Kankakee, Mike Benjamin of Ashkum, and Tami (Gary) Clausen of Castle Rock, CO; two brothers Kenneth Brown and Russell Brown, both of Clarksville, TN; six grandchildren Kailei (Christopher) Both of Watseka, Tailor Harms of Kankakee, Isaac Harms of Kankakee, Beau Benjamin of Peoria, Bryce (Michelle) Clausen of GA and Aaron Clausen of Castle Rock, CO; one great-grandchild Courtland Both; a special friend Donna Line; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law Jerrold Harms, and a sister-in-law Verna Brown.
Anna worked as a CNA for over 25 years at Clifton Hospital and Merkle-Knipprath Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, traveling – especially to Las Vegas, and being with her grandchildren. She was also an Elvis fan.
A private family viewing will be held. Burial will take place in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Clifton. A drive-through visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 from 4-6pm at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Clifton. For the safety of the family, we ask that everyone stay in their car and wear a mask during this time. Anna’s family will be present at the cemetery. Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton is in charge of arrangements.
