The deceased was well known in Rockingham County, where he was formerly a prominent farmer, and living in Reidsville. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hopkins, of Richmond, and a sister in law, Miss Lou Boyd of Charlottesville, VA; a son having lost his life in a fire in Richmond, VA a few years ago.
