Betty Jean (Link) Enfield, 88 of Maxwell, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.
Betty was born to Albert and Kathryn (Kiefer) Link on June 27, 1929, in Maxwell, Iowa. She graduated from Maxwell High School and on June 10, 1951, was united in marriage to Earl Enfield. Betty lived in Maxwell all her life and was a homemaker.
Left to remember Betty are her children: Craig Enfield of Collins, Sheri (Dave) Roach of Carlisle, Calvin (Jana) Enfield of Collins and Joyce (Mick) Gale of Des Moines and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and 10 siblings.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Brethren Cemetery near Maxwell. Memorial contributions may be made to the Loring Church or the Maxwell Public Library. Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell is handling arrangements.
