He was born in the Bronx, N.Y. and was retired from Scoville Prosthetics.
He served the Plainville Housing Authority for 15 years and coached the Plainville Softball League.
He was a member of the Centennial Masonic Lodge No. 118 of New Britain and was active at the Senior Center of Plainville.
He is survived by his wife, Corinne Spencer Trepanier; four daughters, Beverly Berardi of New Hampshire, Constance Gardiner of Canada, Valerie Jones of Florida and Linda Miller of Southington; a son, William Allen of Plainville; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Mary Trepanier, died earlier.
A memorial service was held at the Bailey Funeral Home, Plainville.
Burial was private.
