Early on the morning of Friday, June 5, 2020, James Benjamin “J.B.” Fauscett, 94, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Fauscett was born on May 31, 1926 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late James B. and Augusta Parris Fauscett. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II before going to work as a civil servant on Robins Air Force Base from where he eventually retired. Mr. Fauscett possessed a special gift of being able to make people laugh. He enjoyed life, and he loved everyone. In fact, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. He attended City Church of Warner Robins. Mr. Fauscett was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Sullivan Fauscett; his son, Byron Fauscett; one great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Sylvia Edwards, Wanda Kirkland (David), and Carla Smith; his daughter-in-law, Peggy Fauscett; his grandchildren, Suriffa Sweatt (James), LaBreeska Bargeron (Alvin), Nathan Fauscett (Kelly), and Braylon Smith; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Visitation with Mr. Fauscett’s family will be Sunday, June 7, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2020, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor Dwayne Evors officiating. Following the service, Mr. Fauscett will be laid to rest next to his wife in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
