LUISA GONZALES ARREY, 90, Deming resident passed away Tuesday August 28, 2007 at her home.
Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 3 until 5 at Baca's Funeral Chapel with the prayer vigil that evening at 7 at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Mass of the resurrection will be Saturday morning at 9:30 at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Catanach officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
She was born February 21, 1917 in Garfield to Carmen Serna and Ramon Gonzales. On March 7, 1934 she married A.B. Arrey in Hatch. Luisa was a Deming resident since 1951 coming from Hatch, was a homemaker and an active member of St. Ann's Catholic Church for many years.
Survivors include her son, Bonnie Arrey and wife Clara of Deming; 4 daughters, Mary A. Milo and husband Luis, Ida A. Casillas and husband Hector all of Deming, Angie Mares and husband Pablo of Tucson, AZ., Alice Ramirez of Moreno Valley, CA.; 25 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and 47 great-great-grandchildren.
