PONTOTOC - Sue Ann Myers Roberson, age 71, of Pontotoc, MS, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Pontotoc.
She was born on October 04, 1947 to Henry Allen and Ludene Estell (Brassfield) Myers in Ruleville, MS.
The world lost some of its colors with the passing of Sue Ann Myers Roberson. She was known to her grandchildren and all who loved her as Suki. Her children and grandchildren remained the loves of her life and she was always quick to tell anyone how proud she was of each of them. She was a voracious reader of fiction, she never met a stranger, and never ran out of words of encouragement, or words of any kind! Suki worked in many different vocations throughout her life but took most joy in being able to care for her grandchildren. She treated everyone as an equal regardless of the pay scale, color or status. She never held a grudge and loved without conditions. Her love of bright colors, sparkly things, and food made her the life of the party, and she was always ready for a party. She had the soul of a gypsy, the heart of a child, and the spirit of a fairy. They only made one Sue Ann, but she will live on in all those she loved. "Love a little harder, forgive a little quicker and play a lot more". That's how Suki would have wanted it.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Ludene Myers, and brother Hal Myers.
Sue Ann's visitation will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. A Celebration of Life Funeral Services will follow at 5:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Mark Kelly will officiate the service.
She is survived by children, Billy Roberson (Chasity) of Greenville, MS, Wesley Roberson of Greenville, MS, Rob Roberson of Pontotoc, MS, Nikki Williams of Pontotoc, MS. Son, Aaron Roberson of Clinton, MS. 2 brothers, Donny Myers of Leland, MS, Johnny Myers of Clinton, MS.
