Clarence Arvin Kirk, 65, of Logan, WV went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV. Clarence enjoyed attending church and playing bass. He loved the Lord and his church family. He is a member of the Woodville Community Church and Apostolic Faith Tabernacle Church. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
He was born on August 1, 1954 in Logan, WV to the late Oscar Dow Kirk (1935-2006) and Georgia Fields-Kirk (1938-2010). In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Vanessa Joy Kirk (1956-1956); two daughters, Vanessa Bragg (Deceased) and Vanessa Shively (Deceased); and son-in-law Randy Shively (Deceased).
Those left to honor his memory are his loving wife of 45 years, Carol Kirk; two brothers Randy Kirk & Lola Kirk of NC and Oscar Kirk of Logan; a sister, Estelle Kirk-Meade & husband Virgil Meade of Dingess; three sons, Bobby Tilley & wife Chris Tilley of Columbus, OH, Ronnie Kirk of Logan and Michael Lyons & wife Michelle Lyons of VA; eight grandchildren; three of which he adopted and raised, Dakoda Kirk of Logan, Amber Hamm & husband Seth Hamm and Heather Shively all of MN, Matthew Staton of Matheny, Clarissa Bragg, Lena Bragg, Kirby Bragg and Pamela Kirk all of Columbus, OH; thirteen great grandchildren that were his pride and joy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, Lillydale, WV with Rev. David Stafford officiating. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV.
