She was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on September 4, 1927, a daughter of Edward and Lydia (Pare) Goulet. She graduated from Biddeford High School, class of 1945 and attended University of Southern Maine.
Doris was a home-maker who loved raising her family. She cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, was an accomplished seamstress and avid gardener. She spent many winters in Florida with her husband Leopold and looked forward to their yearly trips with her sisters. She will be sadly missed.
Mrs. Angers was a parishioner of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Andre “Leopold” Angers on January 22, 2002 and by two siblings Lorraine L’Heureux and Armand Goulet.
She is survived by three children Richard Angers and his wife Marion, Susan Landry and Claudette Guerin and her husband Jules, three grandchildren Jill Bookataub and her husband Gene, Matthew Landry and James Angers and one great grandson Anthony. She is also survived by one sister Monique Cote and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be from 10:30AM-12:00PM Friday, June 12, 2020, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James Street, Saco. A Graveside Service will follow at 12:30PM at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
