Dorothy (Dot) I. Eielson, Age 81 of Nashville, TN passed away on June 11, 2020. She was born to the late Homer H. Wallen and Ova Anderson Wallen on October 6, 1938 in Glade Spring, VA. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 yrs, Harry A. Eielson, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Harry Halbert (Hal) Eielson of Kingston Springs, TN and two sisters, Barbara Turner of Franklin, TN and Helen Bishop of Frederick, MD.
She was a graduate of Northwestern State University and was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. She was a homemaker and artist. She was an active member of St John’s Lutheran Church, charter member of Nashville alumnae chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority and an active member of the Donelson Station Senior Center.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Monday June 15 from 4 pm until 6 pm and the funeral services will be Tuesday June 16 at 1 pm at Hibbett and Hailey funeral home with visitation from 12 until service time.
