Mrs. Albin died about 8:30 p.m. at her home in Spur on April 18, following a lengthy illness.
Born Ottie Maude Lassetter on March 10, 1910 in Roddy, Texas, she married John L. Albin in Spur on December 30, 1933. He died on April 19, 1973. A retired school teacher, she had lived in Spur since 1922. She was a graduate of Spur High School, class of 1927 and of Texas Tech, 1932. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Leslie Albin, Austin and John Albin, Sweetwater; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Blumberg and Mrs. Ila Johnston, both of Spur; seven grand children.
Pallbearers included R.E. Wright, Jody Wright, Lester Ball, Frank Hale, Eric Swenson and J.B. Morrison.
Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
