Amel Ludwig Zwiebel
Amel Ludwig Zwiebel was born April 22, 1880 in Montra Ohio to Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zwiebel. He past away March 28, 1965 at the age of 84 years, 11 Months, 6 days. From Ohio he moved to Nebraska with his family when he was a young boy. They homesteaded on a farm south of Valley.
On February 2, 1925 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Frampton in Glenwood, Iowa. To this union two daughter were born, Mrs. Ed (Edna Wilkins and Mrs. Carl (Amelene) Polland, both of
Waterloo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; stepdaughter, Margaret Hartford; parents, four brothers and one sister. Surviving are his two daughters. Edna and Amelene; stepdaughter, Mrs. Lorene Teer; one sister. Mrs. Edith. Burke of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday. March 31, at the Swanson Funeral Home in Valley. Pallbearers. were John Dyer, Jack Hayden. George Humphrey, Major Leedy, Earl Trullinger and Max Wrigg. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Elkhorn.
Swanson Funeral Home in Valley was in charge of arrangements.

Amel Zwiebel Funeral Today
Funeral services for Amel L Zwiebel, 84 Waterloo, Neb., were held today at the Swanson Funeral Home in Valley.
Mr. Zwiebel years ago ran an icehouse in Waterloo and switched to carpentry when the advent of refrigeration destroyed his ice business.
He died Sunday in Douglas County Hospital.
