The death Thursday of Mark Allen at the age of 89 years removed one of Pittsford's oldest residents. He has been in failing health for some time. Surviving are his wife; a son, Byron Allen; two daughters, Mrs. F.H. Durfee of Marion and Mrs. Albert Merriman of Newark. The funeral was followed by interment in the family lot of Marion, his former home.
