Obituary

William J. Seefus who passed away at an Omaha hospital on the evening of January 4th at six o'clock was 44 years, 2 months and 7 days, at the time of his demise. He was born at Papillion, Sarpy county, Nebraska, October 28, 1892, and in 1899 became a resident of Douglas county with his parents. He livd in this county from that time until his death.
Funeral services were conducted from the house at 2 o'clock last Thursday afternoon with Rev. W. O. Samuelson, former Valley Baptist minister in charge. Robert Warren sang. Pallbearers were Ben Hirt, Anton Bloomquist, John Uhl, Frank Safford, D. O. Sumnick and Carl Jensen. Burial was in the family lot at Prospect Hill beside his mother and two sisters who preceded him in death.
Surviving are his father, with whom he made his home, Charles F. Seefus; two brothers, Rollo of Valley and Leslie A. of Omaha; three sisters, Mrs. E. F. Zwiebel, Waterloo; Mrs. William Peterson , Yutan and Mrs. Fritz Peterson Valley.

William J. Seefus, 44, whose res-idence is two miles south of Val-ley, died Monday in a local hos-pital.
Surviving are his father, Charles of Waterloo: three sisters, Mrs. E. F. Zwiebel of Waterloo, Mrs. William Peterson of Yutan and Mrs. Fritz Petersen of Valley, and two brothers. Leslie of Omaha and Rollo of Valley.
The body is at Brailey & Dorrance mortuary. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. at the residence, with burial is Prospect Hill cemetery at Elkhorn.

SERVICE HELD FOR VALLEY RESIDENT

VALLEY, Jan. 7- William Seefus, 49, died in an Omaha hospital at 6 p. m., Monday following a short illness of pneumonia. He had suffered from heart trouble for several years.
Mr. Seefus was engaged in farming with his father south of Valley and just two weeks ago they held a sale and decided to give up the farm.
He is survived by his father, three sisters, Mrs. Zweibel, Mrs, Peterson, both of Valley and Mrs Peterson of Yutan; two brothers Rollo of Valley and L. A. Seefus of Omaha. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. C. Samuelsen of Omaha Thursday afternoon at the home with burial at the Prospect Hill cemetery near Elkhorn.
