The Census of 1860, shows Nelson was in Maryville, Nodaway County Missouri and in 1880 in Washington Township, Polk County, Iowa. It looks like he was the last brother to come to Iowa. William Ozmun, Samuel Gibbs Ozmun, Oliver Gibbs Ozmun and Lorenzo Ozmun and their mother, Rebecca Gibbs Ozmun came to Iowa from Indiana around 1855. Nelson died October 26, 1891 in Story County and is buried in the Peoria Cemetery in Samuel G. Ozmun family Plot with his brother’s family and mother, Rebecca.

Pollock in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa on December 10, 1872. She was born about 1844 in Ohio, the daughter of John Pollock and Judith Potter. She died February 8, 1888. Buried: ??. James marred his second wife, Laura Wikle and/or Ross, on December 16, 1897 in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. Marriage license show James to be 48 and Laura Ross to be 30 years of age. James H. Ozmun died April 16, 1904 in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. He is not listed in Find A Grave.
