Bob was the oldest of four children born to Robert Henry and Ruby E. (Beene) Fenter. He married Elizabeth Ann (Moore) in 1948 and they were the parents of two sons: James Craig and Jack Lloyd.

FENTER, Robert H. "Bob" of Rockdale. Age 57. Died 5/21/1981 (Tuesday) at Providence Hospital, Waco, from complications arising following heart surgery which he had undergone on Monday, 5/4, at the hospital. Services held (Thursday) at First Baptist Church in Rockdale. Burial in IOOF Cemetery. Dr. Glenn O. Hilburn of Waco officiated. Phillips & Luckey in charge of arrangements.

He was BORN 10/11/1923 in Bynum, to M/M. Robert H. Fenter. Married Miss Elizabeth Moore on 1/31/1948 at First Baptist Church in West. Bob was a resident of Rockdale for 30 years, moving here from Hillsboro in 4/1951 to join the Rockdale Reporter as a linotype operator. He worked in that capacity as a typesetter and printer until 1973 when he moved into the advertising department as a salesman. He engaged in cattle ranching and operated his own firm, B&B Rubber Stamp Co., from his home. He was a deacon in the First Baptist Church, member of the Kiwanis Club and Texas Cattleman's Asso.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Elizabeth Fenter, who is city secretary in Rockdale; 2 sons, Craig Fenter of Marshall and Jack Fenter of Rockdale; brother, Bill Fenter of Rockdale; sister, Theresa Strength of Ft.Worth; 3 grandchidlren, Jennifer, Jason and Tuesdi Fenter.
