Mrs. Dorothy Ann Holly died early today, Jul 26, 1952 in a Wilmington hospital following a short illness.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow from the home on Ashton Road in Rocky Point. Interment will be in the family cemetery near the home.
Mrs. Holly was predeceased by her husband William Marshall Holly (Jun 12, 1945) and granddaughter Joyce Ann Holley (Jan 4, 1935). She is survived by two sons, David W. Holly, Sr. (Mary), and W. Harvey Holley (Doris) of Rocky Point; two daughters, Miss. Lila M. Holly, Rocky Point, and Mrs. Eunice Elliott, Fort Bragg, N.C.; one brother, Eddie Lewis, Rocky Point; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Powell, Mrs. Mary E. Huggins, Rocky Point, and Mrs. Maggie Harper, Wilmington. Four grand children, William E.(Billy) Holley, Jack R. Holley, Julia E.(Judy) Holly and David W.(Woody) Holly Jr..
Active pallbearers will be Lawrence F. George, Robert C. Tompkins, Raymond Best, J.J. Abbott, Liston S. Tompkins, and Deleon Fennell.
