On June 21st 2020 Ethel Kennedy Albert of Sandy Hook passed away peacefully. She was 92 years old. Ethel was born in Freeport, NY on May 14th 1928. She married George F Albert on September 18th 1948. They moved from NY to Ridgefield, where they lived for nearly 20 years. Ethel later moved to Brookfield and then Newtown. She retired from a career as a Benefits Supervisor and was active in the senior center. Her love of dogs was surpassed only by her love of her family.
Ethel was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, George F Albert. She is survived by her seven children Deborah, George, Cynthia, Kevin, Tara, Colin, and Kerriann; her 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
A small service will be held for family at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ridgefield CT on Thursday 6/25 at 2pm.
