Louise Maynor Locklear Perry, 80, left this world and entered her heavenly home on Oct.
23, 2009, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. The funeral will be 4 p.m. today at Reedy Branch Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was born in Robeson County on Sept. 9, 1929. She was the daughter of the late John Aaron Maynor and Virginia Tyler Maynor. She was preceded in death by her late husband Zebbie Locklear, three sons, Richard Aubrey Locklear, Jessie James Maynor and David A. Locklear; a brother, Joseph Maynor; six sisters, Hildreth Maynor Seibert, Helen Maynor Santucci, Eula Maynor Jacobs, Cleaty Maynor Ransom, Ruth Maynor Oxendine and Zelma Maynor Hargie.
She is survived by five sons, Charles L. Maynor, Johnny Locklear, Kelvin D. Locklear and Danny L. Locklear, all of Lumberton, and Joe P. Locklear of Shelby; four daughters, Phyllis Maynor Holmes, and Rhonda Maynor Faircloth, both of Lumberton, Kathleen Locklear Brooks of Polkton and Vivian Locklear Lambert of Fairmont; a brother, Howard Maynor of Reno, Nev.; a sister, Orpah Maynor Bell of Lumberton; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves to cherish her memories her extended family of 18 years all the Mohr Plaza residents in Lumberton.
