Homer Rezin Strosnider was born on 28 Jan 1875 in Waynesburg, Greene Co., PA and died on 20 Jan 1951 in Bridgeport Cemetery, Harrison Co., WV at age 75.
He was elected West Virginia Circuit judge for the 15th Judicial Circuit, 1945. He is listed in the History of West Virginia, Old and New Published 1923, The American Historical Society, Inc., Chicago and New York, Volume II.

Homer Strosnider has long been recognized as his usefulness, trustworthiness and thorough efficiency as a private citizen of Clarksburg, let him quietly and successfully perform his manifold duties as a prominent lawyer, public official.

Mr. Strosnider was the son of Rezin and Sarah (Lemley) Strosnider, both of whom were born in Pennsylvania. When he was three years old his parents moved from Pennsylvania to West Virginia, settling first in Ritchie County then to Doddridge County. As a young boy at Center Point he assisted his father until he was ready to enter the State Normal School at Fairmont. Later he entered the University of West Virginia at Morgantown. After taking a two-year course in law in the university, when he took his diploma without a degree, hoping to continue his law studies in Yale University.

While on a short visit to Clarksburg, The Hon. Millard F. Snider became interested in him and offered him a job in his law office, at Clarksburg. He was admitted to the bar in 1907 and for two years was associated with Mr. Snider, since which time he has carried on an individual general practice. He passed the bar before the United States Supreme Court December 7, 1914. He has made an honorable record and is a member of the Harrison County as well as the West Virginia State Bar associations.

In 1900 Mr. Strosnider was married to Miss Della Kile, who was born in Doddridge County, West Virginia, and they have two daughters and one son: Mabel, Luther and Marjorie Jean.

In political life Mr. Strosnider is a democrat and quite active in the councils of his party. For three years he was the city solicitor of Clarksburg and as a city law officer has performed his duties in a manner that has brought forth the highest praise.

He is buried in the Livingstone Section at:
