He is survived by his wife, Shirlene of Las Vegas; son, James of Costa Mesa, Calif.; daughters, Charlene Ahlstrom of Los Alamitos, Calif., and Dawn of Sevierville, Tenn.; brothers, John of Nuevo, Calif., and David of Gardnervila; sister, Dorothy Kellams of Tustin; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
