John Campbell Moore was born on June 2, 1892 in Nashville, Tennessee, one of twin sons of William David Moore (1860–1934) and Catherine Bowen "Kittie" (Campbell) Moore (1860–1930).
He was married to Flossie Mae Neal.
Retired from Benson Printing Company and living at 1125 Stratford Avenue, John was 67 years old and married when he shot and killed himself at home on March 30, 1960. Burial was on April 1st in Spring Hill Cemetery, Madison {city, not county}.
