Wineinger - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Wineinger, aged 73, wife of Philip Wineinger, died at her home in Brownstown Monday night, April 6, at 5:30 o'clock of general infirmities. She had been In failing health for about a year.
She was born in Owen township December 6, 1858, and was the daughter of Silas and Elizabeth Boyles. She spent her entire life in Jackson county.
She was united in marriage to Philip Winelnger June 6, 1874.
To this union were born nine children of whom three sons and four daughters survive, viz: Riley, of Terre Haute; Meade, of New York; Herschel, whose whereabouts are unknown; Mrs. Frances Borders, of Bedford; Mrs. Vern George, of Mt. Zion; Floss Beck, of Kansas City, MO, and Mrs. Netta Martin, of Brownstown. She also leaves fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She had been a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist church since childhood.
Funeral services were held at the Mt. Zion church this morning at 10 o'clock, the Rev. Jesse Nichols, officiating. Burial in the Mt. Zion cemetery.
