Mrs. John Hopper, 77, of Lima, former resident of Chesapeake, died in a Lima hospital at 5 p.m. Thursday following a major operation 10 days ago. Mrs. Hopper was recovering from the operation when she suffered a paralytic stroke which caused her death. She was born May 20, 1860 at Chesapeake, a daughter of Rev. and Mrs. William Goodall. She was married to Charles Brammer in 1884 and he preceded her in death in 1899. Seven children were born to them. In 1916, she married John Hopper. Surviving are her husband and these children: Mrs. Elsie Coffman of Sciotoville, Mrs. Harry Schwoebel, 1007 Third street, Mrs. Cliff Hartlage 1126 Third street, Mrs. Orville Fair of Cleveland, Cecil Brammer of Jackson street, Richard Brammer of Cincinnati, and Arl Brammer of Columbus. She also leaves two brothers, Clyde and John Goodall of Chesapeake. Funeral services will be conducted in Lima Saturday afternoon.
