Kenneth Bennett, age 90 of Battletown, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in Elizabethtown.He was born on August 7, 1929 in Battletown, KY to the late Floyd Bennett and Eunice Padgett Bennett.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Bera Vinson Bennett, sister, Glenda Counterman, and brother, Cecil Bennett.

Kenneth was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War; Retired from Olin Chemical; Union member IBEW 369; member of First Baptist Church in Brandenburg; Harrison Masonic Lodge 122 F&AM; and an avid UK fan.

He is survived by his: sons, Glenn (Melissa) Bennett of Battletown, and Troy Kenneth Bennett of Crestwood; sisters, Verda Hamilton of Battletown and Doris Mangin of Brandenburg; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren

Visitation will be held from 4-8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 1 and Thursday from 10-11 at the First Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 2 from the First Baptist Church in Brandenburg, burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.
