Frances Joan Stierwalt, 57, Martinsville, died at 4:47 a.m. Aug. 25, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Sept. 13, 1949, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Eli Wright Jr. of Eminence and the late Betty Joan (Eubanks) Wright. She was the executive director of Excel Directors in Indianapolis during the 1980s. She was a 1967 graduate of Ben Davis High School. Other survivors include a son, Keith Smith of Plainfield; a daughter, Cassie Stierwalt Goodwin of Martinsville; a brother, Russell Eli Wright of Eminence; a sister, Janice Kay Baughn of Martinsville and a granddaughter, Cami Summitt-Smith. The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday August 29th at Neal & Summers Mortuary in Martinsville. Burial will be in Mannan Cemetery in Lewisville.
