Elma Marie Becket was born to Henry Jacob and Bertha Becket in Newell South Dakota September 24, 1917. She married Kenneth Williamson on Sept 16, 1937. Together they had 3 children - Donna Jean (Bailey,) Judy Joan (Bowman) and John Kenneth. She lived the majority of her life in Rapid City South Dakota and the last 15 years here in Reno.
Elma is survived by children Donna Bailey and John Williamson (Barbara) Grandchildren Laurie Emmons (Reg), Jeana Desilets(Ray), Elroy Bailey (Dianna), Bill Baily (Tammy), Suzanne Broom, Starla Kuban, Susan Zugar (Mike), Tina Kuban, Kenneth Williamson(Joanne)and Julia Herchen (Tim). 16 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren, numerous Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, Brothers George, Neil and Leon, Sister Jeanette, Daughter Judy, Granddaughter Theresa and Dennis Goodman.
Elma peacefully left us in her sleep February 7 2017 at the age of 99, She was an extremely kind and generous role model, Elma was a dearly loved woman who will be missed by all who knew her. We will Celebrate Elma's life at Unity Center, 2207 Kings Row Reno NV, February 18th at 11:00 am. Join us as we celebrate the light that she brought to our lives.
