Margaret Ann Skaggs, 70, of Bargersville, passed away Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. The daughter of Homer D. and Bessie M. (Hubbard) Wilson, Margaret was born June 21, 1937, in Russell Springs, Ky.

Margaret was a graduate of Union Township High School near Bargersville. She retired in 1985 from Western Electric, where she worked as an assembler. Margaret was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Franklin and Union Village Chapter 584 of Order of the Eastern Star, where she was a past worthy matron.

Survivors include her husband, William H. Skaggs of Bargersville, whom she married April 1, 1956, in Franklin; two daughters, Deborah L. Edwards of Greenwood and Vickie J. Clark of Franklin; two brothers, Grady B. Wilson of Hazard, Ky., and Phillip W. Wilson of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Darrell D. Skaggs; and a brother, Roger D. Wilson.

Services were entrusted to Bargersville Community Funeral Home of Bargersville, Indiana.
