Belve Gabbard age 80 of Hamilton passed away Thursday August 16, 2007 at his residence. He was born December 10, 1926 in Burning Springs, Kentucky the son of the late William and Catherine (nee Cowans) Gabbard. Mr. Gabbard was a veteran of the US Army during World War II and worked as a welder at Armco Steel for 29 years. On December 9, 1950 he married Berta Lee Fugate in Liberty, Indiana. Mr. Gabbard enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing, and a good restaurant. He was as comfortable in the kitchen as he was in his workshop. Mr. Gabbard also enjoyed a good debate concerning current events. He dearly loved his family and is survived by his beloved wife, Berta Gabbard; his devoted daughter, Rene Gabbard; brothers-in-law, Howard (June) Fugate and Hager (Blanche) Fugate; and also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
