Born in Waworth, NY, the daughter of Kerney and Bertha (Kunow) Elliott, Pearl grew up with three brothers and one sister.
She married Clarence Elmer Schutt and became the mother of two sons; making a home in Marion, NY while her boys were young.
1957 was a devastating year for Pearl as she lost her father, Kerney, to an industrial accident followed by her mother just three weeks later. It was a tremendous loss for the entire family.
With her children grown, Pearl relocated to Newark, NY where she lived out the remainder of her life. She was diagnosed with cancer and after a long, courageous fight she ultimately succumbed to the disease at Clifton Springs Hospital.
