Doris M. Lee, 71, Martinsville, died at 7:05 p.m. Sept. 9, 2006, at Grandview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Martinsville. Born Sept. 26, 1934, in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of the late John and Pauline (Hann) Zelahy. She was the widow of William F. Lee, whom she married July 7, 1970. He died Jan. 1, 2001. She was the owner/operator of Valley Inn Ice Cream Parlor and Ivy Palace Florist, both in Paragon during the 1970s and 1980s. She later retired as a florist from Super X Grocery Store in Port Orange, Fla. She was a member of South Haven Christian Church in Daytona, Fla. Previously, she had attended Paragon Christian Church. She was a 1952 graduate of Hymera High School. She loved her grandchildren and her cat Neon. She enjoyed reading mysteries and doing crossword puzzles. Survivors include two sons, Carl William "Bill" Cramer of Martinsville and Frank Cramer of Mooresville; two daughters, Brenda Cramer and Margaret "Micki" Burgin, both of Martinsville; two brothers, John and Alex Zelahy of Bentonville, Ark.; two sisters, Lois Clinkenbeard of Terre Haute and Patricia Maxwell of Indianapolis; and five granddaughters, Lori, Jill, Mary, Sara and Carly Cramer. The graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Friendship Park Cemetery in Paragon. Alex Zelahy will officiate.
