Born on January 5, 1928 in Chesapeake City, MD, he was the son of the late Arthur Clifton and Elizabeth L. Bedwell Middleton. Mr. Middleton was a life member and still active member for 51 years of the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Department were he served as Vice President and President. He was a member of the Rock Hall United Methodist Church. He enjoyed shooting pool and was very active in the Monday nite pool league. He enjoyed music and played drums in several local bands for many years. He also enjoyed playing cards with many of his friends.
Mr. Middleton is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Thomas Middleton of 52 years; two sons, Jack B. Middleton, Jr. of Rock Hall, MD and Kevin J. Middleton of Rock Hall, MD; one brother, Thomas Hutchinson of Wilmington, DE, and three grandchildren, Brandon Middleton, Regan Mitchell and Brandon Mitchell.
Family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2002 at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, Rock Hall, MD.
Servcies will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2002 at 2 PM from the Rock Hall United Methodist Church, Rock Hall, MD.
Interment will follow in the St. John's Cemetery Rock Hall,MD. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Rock Hall Fire Company Building Fund, P.O. Box 577, Rock Hall, MD 21661.
