A. L. Christy, Sr., 70 of 4707 Harvey Park Way, died Tuesday in Veterans Administration Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Smith & Kernke Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Christy was born in Oswego, Kan. and came to Oklahoma City in 1928. He was a partner in the Norton-Christy Buick Co. and retired in 1964. He was a past president of Oklahoma City Automobile Dealers Association and past president of Twin Hills Golf & Country Club. He was a veteran of World War I, was a member of the American Legion and attended the First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Blanche M.; a son, A. L., Jr., 2921 SW 61; a daughter, Mrs. Carl Smelser, Idabel; two brothers, William A., Oswego, Kan., and Ernest T., Wichita; and two sisters, Mrs. Harlan Sanders, Labette, Kan., and Mrs. Emma Treadway, Parsons, Kan.

Friends may call at the funeral home until 10 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
