The Obit reads....Funeral services for Roy Pendergraft, 84, of the Grace Rest Home, were conducted in the Dahl-Brown Funeral Chapel Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Kenneth Mitchell, First Congregational Church, officiated. Burial was in Mountview Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Z. O. Jackson, Andrew Palo, Clarence Jackson, Richard Hoke, Ray Dupre, and Bud Hoke. Mr. Pendergraft died Saturday at the nursing home where he lived. There were no known survivors."
