Joanne Aarnoudse, a lifetime resident of Sherwood Park, passed away peacefully July 5, 2020, at the age of 63 from complications due to seizures and dementia. Joanne had a love of life unmatched by most and will be greatly missed by her family, friends and her support staff at her group home, where she lived the past three years. Joanne loved to laugh even as dementia took away her words and mobility, and her joy impacted almost everyone she met. Joanne was predeceased by her father Leo, her mother Freida and her brother Jack. She is survived by her four sisters, as well as many nieces, nephews, great niece and nephews and cousins. Joanne will be interred at Glenwood Memorial between her mother and father. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honour to Robin Hood Association.
