Amanda Malvina Stahl was born August 7, 1837, in Carlisle, N. Y., and died Saturday, Nov. 12, 1892, in Chicago. In her early womanhood she was married to a man by the name of Weller and to them was born a son, Irvine Weller, of this city. In 1882 she married Isaac Stephens, who now survives her. She has been an invalid for many years. Her religious connection has been with the M. E. church. A goodly number of citizens and friends attended the funeral at the Congregational church, Monday and the remains were interred in the Precinct cemetery.
