Raymond H. Schaeffer, 66. 58 River St., Cressona, who was the Cressona borough supervisor for many years, retiring in 1965, died Thursday morning in the Pottsville Hospital.
A son of Harry and Anna Heffner Schaeffer, he was a native of Beckville and resided in Cressona most of his life. He was a member of Bethany Evangelical Church and the Goodwill Fire Co. both in Cressona.
Surviving are his widow, the former Marjorie Wagner; Raymond E. of Harrisburg and Donald W., a former mayor of Cressona now living in Morrisville; one daughter, Fern, wife of William Quinn, Pottsville; one sister Mrs. Mary Anderson, Reading; two grandchildren,
