Pansy Clemans Expires Today
Pansy A. Clemans, 84, 2301 Sherman St., lifetime Anderson resident, died this morning at 3 a.m. at the Dickey Nursing Home in Elwood after an illness of the past two years.
She was born in Pendleton, Feb. 17, 1883, the duaghter of William and Belle Wampler Chapman.
Mrs. Clemans was a member of the Noble Street Methodist Church for several years. She was married to William C. Clemans in Anderson, who died in 1951. A son, Bernard J. Clemans, also preceded her in death in November of 1966.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Sibyl I. Hughel of Anderson; three grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home and burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Friday.
