Sophia Elnora Blunk, 78, Paragon, died at 11:01 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2005, at Morgan Hospital and Medical Center. Born Oct. 20, 1926, in Marion County, she was the daughter of Raymond and Maggie M. (Gadiant) Orebaugh. She married Kenneth W. Blunk on April 9, 1944. He survives in Paragon. Blunk was a homemaker and sold Avon for an number of years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include daughters, Peggy Collins and Pamela S. Blunk, both of Paragon; son, Daniel W. Blunk of Paragon; sisters, Joan Oaks and Thelma Hale, both of Indianapolis, Betty Ann Fulmer of Bargersville and Cora Ellen Thomas of Coatesville; brother, George Orebaugh of Martinsville and grandchildren, Donnie Collins, Mandy Jo Keer, Robert Wayne and Samantha Blunk, Brandy Pettit, Tony Richardson, Daniel and Travis Lane and Amanda Paradee and six great-grandchildren. Brothers, Ray and Raymond Orebaugh and sister, Vivian Manual, preceded her in death. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, at Neal & Summers Mortuary. Rev. Charles Tinsley will officiate. Burial will be at Friendship Park Cemetery in Paragon.
