Guillermo R. Casas, 79, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2007. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Casas had a 30-year career with the Street Department of the City of El Paso. However, his greatest joy was his family; his beloved wife Bernardina who preceded him in death in June of 2006, his son Victor and his wife Janet, his daughter Patricia Lopez and husband Hector, his adored grandson Michael and his brother, Lorenzo Casas of Huntington. Beach, California. The family wishes to express their gratitude to La Mariposa Hospice for their generous support and to his dear friends "The Coffee Club" who with their kindness and loyalty, greatly enhanced his life. A special heartfelt expression of thanks to Cecilia Cornpean for her constant love and devotion to our precious brother, father and grandfather. Private funeral services have been held under direction of San Jose Funeral Home-Downtown.
