Koontz Lake - Services for Mrs. Flossie Ann Finley, 85, of Koontz Lake, who died at 9:45 a.m Thursday at the home of her son Ben, Koontz Lake following a nine-month illness, will be at 1:30 p.m CST Sunday at the Rannells Funeral Home Koontz Lake Chapel with Rev. Paul Loucks and Rev. Lloyd George pastor of the Koontz Lake Missionary Church officiating. Burial will be in the Grovertown Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m CST today at the funeral home. She was born on Feb 9, 1893 in LaPaz. She went to Koontz Lake 64 years ago from Michigan City. On Jan 24, 1910 in Michigan City she married John Finley who died in 1961. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Georgia Huff of Ash Flat, Ark, Mrs Mary Jane Thompson and Mrs Nellie Martin both of Koontz Lake, Mrs Audrey Reed of Walkerton, and Mrs Betty Miller of North Liberty: three sons John of Auburn, William of North Liberty and Benjamin of Koontz Lake: 24 grandchildren: 27 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Bryant Thornburg of Dowagiac, and Homer Thornburg of Plymouth.
