Manuel Cantu, age 78, a Manitowoc resident, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

Manuel was born on June 18, 1942 in Laredo, TX, son of the late Rodolfo and Ignacia (Vega) Cantu. On September 4th, 1982 he married the former Susan Frank. They celebrated 37 years of marriage together. He was a loving and beloved husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife: Susan; two sons: Marlon Cantu and family, Robert Cantu and family; two daughters: Brenda Cantu, Stacy Cantu and family; and one sister: Maria Elena McLendez. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Fernando Cantu and Jesse Cantu; and one sister: Maria DeLux Gonzales.

Private family services were held and Manuel was laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
