Alice Paige Keenan was born near Granville, in Licking County, Ohio, the daughter of Lafayette and Rebecca Price Paige. She moved with her parents, brothers, and sisters to Annapolis, Illinois, April 25, 1871. She departed this life December 1, 1937, at the home of her son Roscoe in Robinson, Illinois. She was married to William D. Keenan October 1, 1873, and to this union was born six children, one daughter and five sons, the daughter and two sons dying in infancy. Three sons survive: Ralph of Detroit, Michigan, Ray of Edwardsville, Illinois, and Roscoe of Robinson, Illinois.
