Mabel V. Beachy, 78, of Fort Hill RD 1, died Dec. 31, 1987, at home. Born Feb. 24, 1909, in Fort Hill, a daughter of the late Porter and Savannah (Conn) McClintock. Preceded in death by her husband, Russell; two sons, Byard and Paul; a granddaughter, two sisters and a brother. Survived by the following children: Robert C. Fike and Dorothy Plume, both of Fort Hill; Thelma Brown and Gary R. Beachy, both of Warren, Ohio; and Naomi Perkins of Massillon, Ohio; also a nephew, Max Beachy of Fort Hill; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a brother, Robert B. McClintock of Fort Hill. She was a member of the Silbaugh Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence and Monday in the Silbaugh Methodist Church from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., the hour of service, the Rev. John R. Hickson and the Rev. Richard McClintock officiating. Interment, Silbaugh Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Silbaugh Methodist Church.
