Elizabeth Abshire, 86, died Friday, June 15, 2007 at her residence in Crowley.
She is survived by a son, Joyson Abshire and his wife, Kathy of Crowley; 7 grandchildren, John Wanette and Trudy Credeur, Yvette, Ron and Reginald Berken, and Anita Abshire; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Abshire was preceded in death by her parents, Doza and Edmae Sonnier Abshire; her husband, Felix Abshire, two daughters, Mavis Credeur and Thelma Abshire Berken; two sisters, and Anita Trahan and Medola Simon.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Wanette and all of the other family and friends who offered their help during her illness.
