Was installed Pastor over the First Free Will Baptist Church and Society in Olneyville (Providence, Rhode Island) Nov. 7, 1828
And continued such until his death Jan. 4, 1852
His last words were "I have a hope that endureth to the end."
He was a warm Personal Friend, a kind Husband, an affectionate Father, a strng advocate for Liberty and Humanity, and a faithful servent of God.
"I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith."
