Mrs. Tennie Curtis, 58, died at her home at 22 Dozier avenue, Alabama City, last night at 11 o'clock, following a long illness of heart trouble. The funeral will be held at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, the services to be conducted by Rev. R.V. Locke, pastor of the Dwight Baptist church. The burial will follow at Clayton cemetery. Mrs. Curtis is survived by three daughters and three sons. She is said to have been a mighty good woman, a devoted mother and a considerate neighbor. Her loss will be keenly felt in her community, according to acquaintances.
