. Lenny was in the US Army in WW II and in August of 1945 was with Battery D, 451st. AAA Battalian outside of Munich, Germany. He held the rank of T/5 and his Army serial number was 32553885. On or about Nov. 8, 1945 Lenny arrived in New Port News VA aboard the "Onieda Victory" along with other soldiers returning from the war in Europe.
Lenny; along with his brother Sandy and father Carmen, were in the grocery business and owned super markets in Alden NY and Orchard Park NY. Lenny later owned a supermarket in Cape Coral FL. At one time he owned a resturant and bar "The Embers" in Colden, NY.
