Ralph Bruce Southwick joined his son. Chase Bruce Southwick, on November 19. 2017. As he passed peacefully, he was met by his son, Chase, with welcoming arms and a huge smile. Hi, Chase, we love you and miss that smile. Bruce was born on December 28. 1938, in Weber County Ogden, Utah, to Ralph Southwick and Irma Sophia Shupe
Bruce is now with his sister. Mary Kay Bunderson, and is survived by sisters: Ann Ellis, Patsy Bennett, and brother. Rodney Southwick. He is survived also by his Willits family. Audrey Southwick. Vicki Lane, Sunni Haupt, Rodney Wood, and Shelly Southwick.
Bruce had a rough life and it seemed to continue until the day he passed away. He dealt with life in a way that many of us would not even consider doing, But we all have our ways of coping. He did love us as we did him, even though showing it was hard for him. I heard my love when he would say, "Hi Vic" with a big smile which I will never forget Bruce attended Willits High School, where he held the football record in the 1960s and the track record from 1960 to 1975. He then went on to serve proudly in our military, returning to Willits and was employed at Remco. He will be laid to rest at Willits Cemetery.
