Ruth Elaine Robinson, 83, of Canton Texas passed away peacefully on July 17, 2020 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on September 4, 1936 in Pontiac, Illinois to Harold Vernon Brill and Ruth (Yoho) Brill. She is in the care of Eubank Funeral Home of Canton, Texas.
She grew up and attended school in Pontiac, IL. In the early 1970’s she moved to Dallas, where she worked in the apartment industry for over 20 years. She later retired to Canton. After retiring, she stayed active by working part time for Walmart in both Terrell and Canton. Ruth enjoyed reading, old movie musicals, shopping, and spending time with good friends. Her greatest joy was her six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Ruth was loved by all that knew her and will be truly missed.
Ruth is survived by her children, Michael Huston, Dallas; Kelly (Curt) Wilcox, Sanger; Lara (Jim) Bowling, Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Morgan (Matt) Tiller, David Bowling, Christopher (Linda) Bowling, Haley Wilcox, Lindsey Wilcox and Jaren Bowling; great grandchild, Talyn Tiller; brothers, Chuck (Myra) Brill, John (Pat) Brill; and former husband, William E. Robinson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill D. Huston; parents, Harold and Ruth Brill; brother, Vernon Brill; sisters, LaDonna Curtiss, Betty Story, and Dorothy Sutton.
A memorial will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Pontiac, Illinois.
